Financial Literacy Board
The Financial Literacy Board is a non statutory body that provides advice to the Government and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) on financial literacy issues.
The Board comprises thirteen members, including the Chair, Mr Paul Clitheroe AM, who are appointed by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, the Hon David Bradbury, MP.
Members are appointed in their own right, rather than as representatives of particular organisations, and give their services on a voluntary basis.
The Board meets quarterly. The meetings provide an opportunity to discuss financial literacy initiatives with local business, education and community representatives.
